Sugar Free Brownie Cookies
Sugar Free Brownie Cookies, a delicious no added sugar chocolate cookie recipe that tastes like a irresistibly fudgy brownie.
Instructions
-
Prepare. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Prepare your baking sheet(s) for nonstick. I like to use parchment paper or a baking mat for a recipe such as this one.
-
Melt. In a microwave safe bowl, place the chocolate chips and butter. Microwave the ingredients until melted, stopping to carefully stir every 30 seconds, until melted. Then carefully stir the ingredients until smooth and well combined. This step can alternatively be done using the double boiler method.
-
Dry Ingredients. While the melted chocolate is cooling to room temperature, in a medium bowl, use a whisk to combine together the flour, the baking powder, unsweetened cocoa powder.
-
Eggs. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the eggs and sugar alternative until creamy. The stir in your vanilla extract.
-
Combine. Add the cooled melted chocolate mixture from the second step the large mixing bowl and mix to combine. Then add the dry ingredients from the medium bowl to the mixing bowl and mix until just combined.
-
Scoop. Use a medium sized cookie scoop to scoop out the cookie dough and place the cookies about at least an inch and a half apart from one another.
-
Bake. Bake the cookies for seven to 10 minutes or until edges appear to be set (the center will still be soft). You should also see cracks on top of the cookies. Cool. Let the cookies sit on the baking sheet for about ten minutes to cool as this will help the center set. Then transfer the cookies to a cooling rack.
